Human Rights News | 112 Rally in Seoul: Christians Expose the CCP’s Lies and Tyranny in Support of Hong Kong People


To express support for the Emergency Call for Aid and Autonomy Rally in Hong Kong, several local organizations came together to hold a Stand With Hong Kong march on Hongdae Street in Seoul, South Korea on November 2, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG) also attended the rally and gave an address, castigating the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for using deception and violence to safeguard and expand its autocratic rule, ceaselessly depriving Hong Kong people of their democratic freedom, and cruelty persecuting Christians, Muslims, and dissidents. They are urging more people to express their support for Hong Kong and collectively oppose the totalitarian despotism of the CCP.

70 Years of Oppression Is Enough! Multiple Countries Denounce CCP Tyranny


October 1st, 2019, the 70th anniversary of the CCP usurping political power in China, was celebrated by the CCP with great fanfare. A concurrent march was held in Hong Kong to memorialize the day of this national tragedy. Uyghurs, Tibetans, Hongkongers, and Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG) also in Germany, Belgium, and Canada in protest of CCP tyranny and in support of persecuted religious groups in Hong Kong and mainland China.

Human Rights News | 112 Seoul Rally: Chinese Christians Stand With Hong Kong

On November 2, 2019, from 6–8 p.m., hundreds of people, including Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG), joined a rally “Stand with Hong Kong,” at Hongdae Street in Seoul, South Korea, in support of the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong “Emergency Call for Hong Kong Autonomy.” It’s reported that people in 45 cities of 17 countries organized simultaneous events to support Hong Kong.

On the eve of the 70th anniversary of the CCP regime, marches and gatherings were held in cities across the globe to support Hong Kong and protest against CCP tyranny, including a gathering in front of China's Washington DC embassy on September 29, 2019. Organized by Citizen Power Initiatives for China; over 20 other groups also joined to jointly protest against 70 years of the CCP's despotic rule and support Hong Kong's fight to preserve freedom, including the Uyghur American Association, the Chen Guangcheng Foundation, the Association Against Religious Persecution , and The Church of Almighty God (CAG).

International Day of Peace: Persecuted New Chinese Religion Does Its Part for Peace



A side event with the theme "Broadening the Impact of Peace" was organized on September 19, 2019 at the United Nations Office at Geneva to celebrate the 38th International Day of Peace. The event's main focus was religion, including emerging religions' hard work to Contribute to global harmony and justice. The event was hosted by Fundación Vida-Grupo Ecológico Verde and Foundation for the Improvement of Life, Culture and Society, and co-organized by the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), publisher of Bitter Winter , as well as over 10 other organizations and groups. The Church of Almighty God (CAG) was invited to participate.

UN Geneva: Totalitarian Regimes Are the Biggest Hindrance to World Peace



On September 19, Fundación Vida-Grupo Ecológico Verde and Foundation for the Improvement of Life, Culture and Society co-hosted a conference titled “Broadening the Impact of Peace” at United Nations Office at Geneva, in order to celebrate International Day of Peace. A Christian from The Church of Almighty God (CAG) made a speech on peace and disclosed the calamity the CCP’s totalitarian regime has brought to China and other countries, and pointed out that the main cause of the world’s lack of peace and stability lies in the existence of the evil forces and totalitarian regimes headed by the CCP. She also urged all those who long for justice and peace and loathe evil to fight against the tyranny of the totalitarian regimes in solidarity.

Christian Wang Dongdong's Account of His Experience of the CCP's Cruel Persecution


  Wang Dongdong started to believe in the Lord Jesus along with his parents since he was little. In 2001, his whole family accepted Almighty God’s kingdom gospel. In 2011, his elder brother was arrested because of believing in God. Wang Dongdong and his parents were forced to flee their home. In 2012 when he was in exile, he heard the news that his mother passed away due to sickness while hiding from the hunting of the police. Wang was arrested by the Chinese SWAT officers in 2013 because of preaching the gospel, and he was tortured by them for three months and eleven days. After his release, he had no choice but to flee abroad in order to escape from the CCP’s persecution.

On February 4, 2019, the European Federation for Freedom of Belief (FOB) held a conference in Florence, Italy to promote its most recent publication: Law and Freedom of Belief in Europe: an arduous journey. This book is an exploration of how to effectively protect the freedom of belief and religious freedoms of immigrants to Europe from across the world through legal means. This includes the situation of religious persecution in China and the issue of refugees belonging to The Church of Almighty God (CAG) who fled China due to religious persecution. Riccardo Migliori, Past President of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), introduced the book to our reporter before the conference.

Award-Winning Christian Documentary Gives New Understanding of God’s Rule


Feng Aixia accepted Almighty God’s kingdom gospel in 2006. She was arrested by the CCP police when preaching the gospel in 2014. During the interrogation, the police stripped her off, slapped her on the face, beat her with electric batons, pulled one of her hands back over the shoulder and the other hand up along the back before cuffing them together, etc., torturing her in various kinds of ways. In the end, she was detained for fourteen days on the charge of preaching the gospel illegally and disturbing the social order. After her release, unable to bear the threat and control of the CCP, she was forced to leave her home and flee everywhere.

On June 19th, during the Thirty-eighth Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations, Mr. Thierry Valle, President of the Coordination of the Associations and Individuals for Freedom of Conscience (CAP LC), on behalf of 7 NGOs, gave an oral statement at the Human Rights Council. This statement calls for attention on the continuous persecution of The Church of Almighty God by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and urges Chinese government to respect religious liberty and stop the persecution of The Church of Almighty God.
