1. If you are unable to follow the light of today, then a distance has opened up in your relationship with God—it may even have been severed—and you are without a normal spiritual life. A normal relationship with God is built upon the foundation of accepting the actual words of God. Do you have a normal spiritual life? Do you have a normal relationship with God? Are you someone who follows the work of the Holy Spirit?
2. If you are able to follow the light of the Holy Spirit today, and can grasp God’s will within His words, and enter into these words, then you are someone who follows the stream of the Holy Spirit. If you do not follow the stream of the Holy Spirit, then you are undoubtedly someone who does not pursue the truth. The Holy Spirit has no chance of working within those who have no desire to improve themselves, and as a result, such people are never able to summon their strength, and are always passive.
3. Today, do you follow the stream of the Holy Spirit? Are you in the stream of the Holy Spirit? Have you emerged from a passive state? All those who believe in the words of God, who take the work of God as the foundation, and follow the light of the Holy Spirit today—they are all in the stream of the Holy Spirit. I God's work now is to speak, no more signs, nor wonders. It's not the Age of Grace. God is normal and real. In the last days He is not the supernatural Jesus, but a practical God in flesh, no different from man. So man's belief in God is because of His many works, words and deeds. III Comprehend His reality, understand His disposition only by knowing His actual deeds, how He works and speaks, employs His wisdom, makes people perfect ones. Comprehend how He works upon man, understand His likes and dislikes. This can help differentiate right from wrong, and through this knowledge of God there's progress in your life. God's wisdom never changes, God's wonder never changes, God's righteousness never changes, God's majesty never changes. God's substance never changes, and what He has and what He is shall never change.
I And His work is moving forward and going deeper; God is always new and never old. New name, new work in each age; a new will and disposition. If man couldn't see this disposition, God'd still be nailed to the cross and would be defined by them! II God's work is new and never old, but who He is never changes. You can't define 6000 years of God's work in static language. God's not as simple as you think, His work goes on from age to age.
