Some people think that when the incarnate Lord Jesus was resurrected after His crucifixion, He became the life-giving Spirit. And thereby the life-giving Spirit dwells within us, blends with our spirit, and the two spirits will become one. Thus we will become God in the end. Is this idea valid? Actually, the substance of the Holy Spirit is unchangeable, so how could He become a life-giving Spirit? The Holy Spirit only carries out the work of salvation on man, so how could He dwell within us as the life of man?
