Besides Prayers, What Else Should We Do When Facing Disasters?

Recently, various natural disasters have continued to occur, and so do ethnic clashes and violence and other disasters. When these disasters happen frequently, the first thing many people think of is to pray to God right away and ask Him to keep them from these disasters. Besides praying to God and asking for His protection, what else should we do in the disasters? As we all know, when the Lord Jesus foretold the sign of His coming in the last days He said, “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:6–8). And now all the signs show that the prophecies of the Lord’s return have basically been fulfilled, and that the Lord has returned. It is a matter of vital importance whether we can welcome the Lord’s coming and be raptured before the tribulation. Therefore, when disasters strike, in addition to praying for God’s protection, we must also seek to welcome the Lord’s appearance. So, what should we do to welcome the Lord’s return?
This wonderful extract from the movie Break the Spell, “How to Welcome the Return of the Lord in the Lat Days,” will help us find the right path to welcoming the Lord’s return.
