Almighty God says, "Humanity, having strayed from the Almighty’s provision of life, is ignorant of the purpose of existence, but fears death nonetheless. They are without help or support, yet still reluctant to close their eyes, and they steel themselves to drag out an ignoble existence in this world, sacks of flesh with no sense of their own souls. You live in this way, without hope, as do others, without aim. Only the Holy One of legend will save the people who, moaning in the midst of their suffering, long desperately for His arrival. So far, such belief has not been realized in those who lack consciousness.
Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God
All men wish to see the true countenance of Jesus and desire to be with Him. I believe that not one of the brothers or sisters would say that he is unwilling to see or to be with Jesus. Before you have seen Jesus, that is, before you have seen the incarnate God, you will have many thoughts, for example, about Jesus’ appearance, His way of speaking, His way of life, and so on. However, when you really see Him, your thoughts will swiftly change. Why is this? Do you wish to know?
Almighty God says, "I have held people to a very strict standard all along. If your loyalty comes with intentions and conditions, then I would rather not have any of your so-called loyalty, for I abhor those who deceive Me through their intentions and extort Me with conditions. I only wish for people to be loyal to none other, and to do all things for the sake of and to prove that one word: “faith.”
One stage of the work of the two previous ages took place in Israel; another took place in Judea. Generally speaking, neither stage of this work left Israel; they were the stages of work carried out among the initial chosen people. Thus, in the view of the Israelites, Jehovah God is only the God of the Israelites. Because of Jesus’ work in Judea, and because of His completion of the work of the crucifixion, from the perspective of the Jews, Jesus is the Redeemer of the Jewish people. He is solely the King of the Jews, not of any other people; He is not the Lord who redeems the English, nor the Lord who redeems the Americans, but He is the Lord who redeems the Israelites, and in Israel it is the Jews that He redeems. Actually, God is the Master of all things.
The Work of Spreading the Gospel Is Also the Work of Saving Man
Almighty God says, "All people need to understand the purpose of My work on earth, that is, the final objective of My work and what level I must achieve in this work before it can be complete. If people, walking with Me to this day, do not understand what My work is all about, then have they not been walking with Me in vain? People who follow Me should know My will. I have been working on earth for thousands of years, and I am still doing so now. Although there are especially numerous items included in My work, its purpose remains unchanged.
Almighty God says, "You regard all deeds of Christ from the standpoint of the unrighteous and judge all His work and His identity and substance from the perspective of the wicked. You have made a grave mistake and done that which has never been done by those before you. That is, you only serve the lofty God in heaven with a crown upon His head and never attend to the God you regard as so insignificant as to be unseen. Is this not your sin? Is this not the typical example of your offense against the disposition of God? You very much worship the God in heaven. You very much adore lofty figures and esteem those with great eloquence. You are gladly commanded by the God that gives you handfuls of riches, and greatly pine for the God who can fulfill your every desire. The only one you do not worship is this God who is not lofty; your sole object of hatred is association with this God whom no man can regard highly. The only thing you are unwilling to do is to serve this God who has never given you a single penny, and the only one for whom you do not yearn is this unlovely God. Such kind of God cannot enable you to broaden your horizons, to feel as if you have found a treasure, much less fulfill what you wish. Why, then, do you follow Him? All Things Live in the Rules and Laws Set Down by God
1. Thousands of years passed by, humans still enjoy the light and the air bestowed by God. Humans still breathe in and out the breath exhaled by God Himself. Humans still enjoy things created by God, the fish, birds, flowers and insects. Humans enjoy all the things, all the things provided by God. Continually day and night still replace each other. As usual the four seasons alternate. Flying in the sky, the geese depart in winter and return in spring. Swimming in the water, the fish never leave the rivers and the lakes, their home.
2. During the summer days, cicadas on the ground joyfully sing their hearts out. During the autumn days, crickets in the grass gently hum in time to the wind. Geese gather in flocks, while eagles stay alone. God Himself is life and truth, and His life and truth are intertwined. Those who gain not His truth, gain not life. Without receiving the guidance and support of His truth, man is left with mere letters and doctrines, man is left with death. God’s life and truth are intertwined and ever-present. If you know not the source of truth, you receive not the nourishment of life. Christ of the last days brings life and carries enduring and everlasting truth. People shackled by history and bound by doctrine, chained by regulations, will never gain life or the path to life everlasting. What they have is nothing but a thousand years of history and doctrine, like dark stagnant pools, which are not the water of life from the throne of God. And those who drink not from this water shall shamble as corpses forever, as thralls of Satan, as the sons of hell. Christ of the last days brings life and carries enduring and everlasting truth. This truth is the path that man must walk to gain life. It is the only path to knowing God and receiving His approval. Christ of the last days brings the way to eternal life.
