In the religious world there are some denominations that believe that God became man that man may become God. Does this theory conform to the intention of God when He created man? Almighty God says, "God, after all, is God, and man is man. God has the substance of God, and man has the substance of man" (The Word Appears in the Flesh). God is the Creator. As people, we are only created beings. We cannot mention the substance of man and the substance of God on equal terms, so how could man become God?
